graphic designer
The Graphic Designer plays an important step in the event production process. The save the dates and invitations are the first impression of the overall aesthetics of an event, which must then be carried through every element of event printing and design elements. The graphic designer should be creative in the sense they can bring brainstorming ideas from paper to computer to print to in-person. The best candidate must be able to create aesthetically pleasing, and unique designs, which replicate and enhance the atmosphere of each event. The Graphic Designer must work with event designers and production in order to create consistency between all aspects of an event, i.e. floral, décor, A/V, etc.
Responsibilities
-
Collaborate with event designers to create custom renderings of idea and concepts imagined by the JMC designers. Renderings can range from large scale room transportations, oversized displays, logo designs, personalized menus for each guest, invitation designs, and custom signage, etc.

Manage company website to update necessary changes and create/add new categories. Management of the website can also consistent heightening the JMC brand through creative website elements.

Design marketing materials as requested for JMC while maintaining brand consistency throughout all materials.

Assist Event Producers in providing updated renderings, storyboards, and additional materials needed for client presentations.

Work in conjugation with Event Designers, Event Producers, and Art Department to stay on-task and up-to-date with active changes to event designs and due dates for printed materials.

Maintain working relationships with established printing companies to provide renderings and designs on-time in order to receive materials for accurate due dates.

Communicate daily with the Owner, Chief Operation Officer, and Event Producers to be aware of any upcoming graphics needed.

Graphic Designer may need to be on-site for installation of large scale/ heavy graphic design events.

Maintain a database of all renderings.

Manage all print material deadlines.

Manage various slack channels that contain all graphics needed for an event along with their progress.
Qualifications
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design or related field
-
A portfolio of work exhibiting strong aesthetic and design skills
-
Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

Strong typographic skills
-
Ability to design consistent event branding
-
Knowledge of printing processes and the ability to create artwork based on the printing method
-
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to create print ready artwork on short deadlines

Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects at once

Exceptional creativity and innovation

STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Joe Mineo Creative is a nationally recognized and award-winning event design company. With every corporate event, wedding, and private party we create, plan, or manage, our team provides clients with a unique design, exceptional service, and a sophisticated presentation.
We are hiring a hardworking, self-motivated team player who will fill the position of Administrative Assistant, responsible for administrative and bookkeeping tasks. This is a part-time position, 28-30 hours per week.
The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping activities, contracts, invoicing, and client reconciliation. Additionally, the Staff Accountant will provide clerical support to the Creative Director. This position reports directly to COO and Creative Director.
Responsibilities:

Works closely and communicates with the COO and Creative Director.

Attend weekly meetings with COO and Creative Director, documents meetings and executes to-do lists as dictated by meetings.

Maintain Event spreadsheet and perform reconciliation of job costs for all events.

Import all invoice, income, and expense data in the event software Curate.

Enter and update invoices weekly.

Process credit card transactions.
-
Enter payments received.
-
Enter deposits.
-
Enter bills and attach documents.
-
Enter bill payments.
-
Import credit card transactions.

Enter petty cash journal entries.
-
Enter credit card entries.
-
Follows all safety guidelines according to company policies and procedures.

Collect, calculate, and enter weekly hours sheets

Request COI’s, Subcontractor Agreement and W-9’s from vendors and maintain COI binder

Set up meeting to review 90-day goals with all employees

Order office supplies

Enter and submit monthly sales-tax confirmation report

File all invoices and receipts in event binder

Process sales tax exempt forms

Process e-checks and credit card payments
-
Open and process incoming mail
Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of administrative, bookkeeping, and QuickBooks experience preferred.

Proficient technological abilities to perform tasks with existing and new software programs.

Proficient with QuickBooks.

Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English.

Ability to think out of the box and problem-solve when needed.

Good verbal communication skills to communicate successfully with the team.

Ability to multitask and delegate when needed.

Must be 18 years old or older.
